    Hi Denise,

You and your family must be so excited for your first Walt Disney World vacation!  There is so much to see and do, that it will be impossible to do everything.  If you keep that in mind, I think you will eliminate a lot of stress and be able to "relax" and enjoy all of the magic in the parks.  Sometimes the best moments are those little things that you don't plan: an unexpected performer, a talking trash can, splashing in fountains.

Having said that, I'm suggesting 3-5 "must do" attractions at each park:

    • Magic Kingdom: Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Mickey's Philharmagic, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Wishes
    • Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Soarin', The Sea with Nemo and Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush
    • Animal Kingdom: Kilimanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, Legend of the Lion King, It's Tough to Be a Bug
    • Hollywood Studios: Lights, Motors, Action!, Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Tours, Jedi Training Academy

If it's in your budget, character dining is a great way to spend time with your favorite characters.  Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is a favorite spot for our family.  If you're looking for a unique dining experience, try Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
