Ahoy there, Diana, and welcome to planDisney!
Any celebration with Disney Cruise Line is sure to be amazing, but sailing during Christmas is extra special.
Very Merrytime Cruises are packed full of holiday fun – even the big guy from the North Pole stops by. I’m happy to help you spread a little holiday cheer to your crew.
The exchange of gifts among Guests, often referred to as Fish Extender or FE Groups, is a popular cruise tradition. These unofficial exchanges are frequently organized through social media groups. Usually, you give one gift a day to a set number of staterooms. It’s fun playing Secret Santa with your fellow cruise passengers. I recommend searching for your ship and sail date on social media. Once connected with a group, you can inquire about any exchanges they have planned.
Diana, on my last holiday sailing, I ordered a special holiday décor package from
Onboard Gifts. It was waiting for us when we entered our stateroom. My son had the biggest smile when he saw the surprise! Last year there were Christmas-themed treats, mini-Christmas trees, and a cozy blanket and pillow package. Keep in mind that this year’s gift options haven’t been announced yet and could change from previous years. I recommend checking the site in the fall to see what’s available for your sailing.
Another fun tradition is taking a family picture in your favorite matching sweaters or pajamas in front of the sparkling Christmas tree in the atrium.
Disney photographs are on hand to capture these special moments. I know that whatever you have planned, your family will have the best holiday because you are spending it together.
I wish you the merriest time planning your cruise. Please send any additional questions our way. We are happy to help untangle any tinsel so that your adventure at sea is merry and bright!
SEAS the adventure!
