Ahoy, Colleen!
You're going to love cruising on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic. With all the new features and enhancements, you're sure to have a most magical vacation!
Disney Cruise Line makes sure that heading off the ship for a Port Adventure is a very smooth process. When you pre-book
Port Adventures through DCL, you'll have Excursion Tickets waiting for you in your stateroom when you board. On the ticket, you'll find the time and meeting location for your particular adventure.
On the day of your Port Adventure, you'll take your ticket to the assigned meeting place (usually one of the theatres or clubs onboard), and receive a color-coded sticker to wear. The stickers identify the group participating in your specific excursion. When it's time to disembark, a crew member will lead your group off the ship for your Port Adventure.
If you've booked the tour on your own, and not through Disney, I suggest being one of the first in line to disembark. In your Personal Navigator (a daily schedule delivered to your stateroom), you'll find an "All Ashore" time listed, which is the earliest time you can leave the ship in port. I've found that the disembarking process is always very organized and orderly. Make sure you have your Key to the World Card and photo I.D. ready when heading to the gangway.
I hope this helps, and that you have a wonderful day touring
Nassau!
