We're heading to Epcot on June 30th and have dinner reservations at San Angel Inn at 8PM. Will we have enough time to make Illuminations at 9PM? Just wondering if service is usually quick, or do we have to wait? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jamie,

I've found the service at San Angel Inn to be quick and efficient.  If we aren't in the mood to linger over margaritas, we are usually in and out in under an hour.  You may want to try to bump up your reservation to 7:30 just to be safe, but if you are unable to, I'd recommend arriving early for your advanced dining reservation and letting your server know that you are trying to make Illuminations.  Obviously, if you spend a lot of time chatting before ordering (something I'm often guilty of) or eating dessert, you dinner will last longer.  If you stick to the basics, sit, order, eat, leave, it will be close, but you should make it!

San Angel offers a wonderful atmosphere overlooking a lovely river and volcano that is featured in the Mexico ride at the pavilion.  Did I mention that they have great margaritas?

    Have a great time!
