    I am heading to Fl in the end of August and I thought it would be awesome to make a stop with my son. I originally thought about waiting til his fifth birthday. Do you think it would be a better idea to wait a few years, since he is only 2? #single mommy

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Arika. I'm so glad you stopped by!

     I think it's super great that you're considering at stop at the Walt Disney World Resort with your son. My single-mom took my brothers and me as often as she could, and while it wasn't easy for her to do on her own, the time we spent there together was priceless! I think you should absolutely take your son this summer. I have dozens of reasons why now is a great time to take him, but the most important one is that theme park admission is free for Guests under the age of 3 - how awesome is that? While your son may not remember every detail of his first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, memories of the joy you shared there together will surely be etched on his heart, and you will treasure those magical moments forever!

     Take a look at the Planning Guide for Little Ones. It's filled with tips and recommendations to make visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your toddler a breeze! My fellow panelist, Kristen, is a toddler-mom and she has some valuable insight about taking a 2-year old that you may also find helpful. If you have to pick just one theme park to visit, I suggest Magic Kingdom Park; there's lots of attractions that are perfect for you and your son to experience together!
