Heading to DW in Nov. Have park hoppers and are planning to start day 1 at AK (have park reservation) and hop to Epcot at 2p. Hoping to make dinner reservations at Akershus (if open). Is this possible if we can't have a park reservation at Epcot?

There is quite some time between now and November, Alison. Hopefully Akershus Royal Banquet Hall will be open by then!

It sounds like you have a good understanding of the current guidelines for using the Park Hopper Option. The one thing I would remind you about is that park hopping is permitted only when the second park has availability, as far as capacity goes. You can check via the My Disney Experience Mobile App or by stopping in at Guest Services.

Even having a dining reservation does not guarantee you park hopping admittance in that second park you visit. And because you risk missing your reservation and being charged a fee for that missed reservation, Walt Disney World recommends securing your dining reservations in the park where you hold a reservation.

Of course, many guests have done exactly what you’re suggesting without any trouble. If you do go ahead with this plan, it’s just a good idea to keep the risk in mind.

I hope it all works out for you, Alison, however you proceed.
