We're heading to DW this month. Have recently found out I'm expecting baby #4. Feeling very tired was wondering how much the wheelchair hire was per day? Not sure I'll cope walking around the parks for the whole day.

Hi there, Steph and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, congratulations on your new Mouseketeer, that is very exciting!

I actually have visited the Parks twice while pregnant and both of my visits were during the same pregnancy. The first visit happened when I was about 12 weeks pregnant and the second was when I was 27 weeks pregnant. Let me tell you, even though it was the same baby, both trips were very different! I recommend consulting with your doctor before your visit, since every woman is different and you and your doctor know your body best. During my first visit I was very tired. I personally did not rent a wheelchair, but I did take a lot of breaks inside shops, and indoor Quick-Service restaurants. You are able to rent a wheelchair for the day, or for your Length of Stay. Currently, the Daily price is $12.00 a day and the Length of Stay price (multi-day) is $10.00 a day, prices subject to change. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis so if you feel that you might need one, I recommend starting your day with one!

If you are planning to stay in the parks the entire day, I recommend taking a bag packed with anything you may need throughout the day. When I returned for my second trip, later on in my pregnancy, we stayed from open to close. I wore closed toed athletic shoes and my feet ended up swelling, causing my heel to rub on the back of the shoe, resulting in a blister. Thankfully, First Aid was able to provide me with a few bandaids to get me through the day. Since that experience, I recommend to all my expecting friends traveling to pack a bag with; a pair of flip flops or loose fitting shoes, a refillable water bottle, crackers or snacks, and any other comforts you may need.

Enjoy your trip! It will be incredibly Magical and make sure to take plenty of photos! My favorite picture was taken while the rest of the party was riding an attraction not recommended for expectant mothers. You see me and my little belly smiling big with Moana! My daughter is only 2-years old, but I can't wait for her to see the picture in her baby book!

    See ya real soon!
