    We're heading to DW in 5 days for my stepdaughters bday surprise (7yo). I have purchased "surprise" items for her & would like to know if there's a service @ resorts that will put these items out in our room to look as if they were magically

    Hi April!

    Wow, only five days to go!  I can imagine there is a lot of happy dancing going on in your house right about now.  On each of my families vacations, I will purchase little surprises for our kiddos to leave in the room upon our return in the evening.  While there is not a service per se, there are a couple of options that you could try to have your birthday surprises delivered.

    • Your best option is to always do it yourself, that way you know without a doubt the surprises will be waiting.  When leaving your room in the morning, just pretend that you forgot something and double back to leave your birthday surprise.
    • Explain the situation to the concierge, most likely they can have bell services deliver the package for you.  The only possible downside to this scenario is the packages could arrive at various times of the day.
    • Also try leaving a letter to mousekeeping, let them know that you're celebrating a birthday and would the be able to leave the package with an arrangement of towel animals or your child's stuffed animals.  While there is no guarantee that they will do this, it certainly doesn't hurt to ask!
