Heading down the week of Christmas this year...are there any star wars character meet and greets, especially with the new movie coming out soon.

    Hello Skyler,

It sure is an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan! If you are like my family, you are eagerly awaiting the release of the film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Currently, there are no official Star Wars Character Greetings offered at Walt Disney World Resort. However, fans all throughout the galaxy are awaiting the opening of the new Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney's Hollywood Studios later this year. You never know who might show up!

For the most up-to-date information, keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog. I expect more announcements to be made as we near closer to the movie release date.

Wishing you a very merry vacation, Skyler. May the Force be with you!
