We will be heading down in Sept and are wondering when the early 1/2 hour for resort guests will be starting up. Hoping they will be running for our trip. Thanks!

My family has enjoyed several September vacations at Walt Disney World over the years, Lori. It’s a really great time to visit!

An official start date for Early Theme Park Entry has not yet been announced. According to the Disney Parks Blog, though, this privilege will be available to Guests as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, in honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. The actual anniversary date is October 1, so I would not be surprised if Early Theme Park Entry is available in September, but until an announcement is made, there is no way to be sure.

One thing you can be sure of is that the Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be taking place during your stay. Even if wine isn’t your thing the tasty dishes served up at the Global Marketplaces are sure to tempt your taste buds. I hope you’ve made plans to check out this foodie friendly festival!

I’ve got my fingers crossed that you’ll be able to take advantage of that early entry, Lori. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates!
