Heading down in 10 days. Wondering if mosquitos are a problem in FL this time of year. Will I need to pack bug spray?

    Hi there Karen!

My next family trip is a few days behind yours, and I hope you are as excited as we are!  I am happy to say, that in my many trips to Disney, I've never had a problem with mosquitos, regardless of the time of year we travel.  We almost always include one late July or August trip and have not had any issues.  I am not a big fan of bugs (In fact,  when I was in college, I begged my dad to drive four hours to get rid of a critter I found in my dorm room) and can honestly say that I can't remember being bitten by any mosquitos while at Disney.

Unless you plan on taking a little "road trip" to the Everglades, I think you can stick with packing lots of sunscreen!

    Have a fabulous trip!
