Hi Linda,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know your tween and teens are getting excited for your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
There are two possibilities I suggest. Given the ages of your young people, I suggest that you do Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom on day one and then Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot on day two. I suggest ending the day at Magic Kingdom on day one so that you can view the
Happily Ever After fireworks show and beginning the day at Disney's Animal Kingdom on day two so that you can take an early expedition on Pandora.
Option two would be to do Epcot and Magic Kingdom on day one and then Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios on day two. You can use the monorail to get from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. For other transit directions, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. It has a nice "Get Directions" Feature. Remember to check the park hours before you make your decision!
With both of the options I recommend, you would visit Magic Kingdom on day one. Although we love all of the theme parks, there is nothing quite like walking into Magic Kingdom and seeing Cinderella Castle! With my tweens, we always head straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. On Tomorrowland Speedway, my husband and I love to ride with the girls to give them grades on their driving. I am happy to report that my driver moved up from an initial grade of D to a B+!
Linda, no matter which order you choose, I trust that you will create the most incredible memories with your tweens and teens!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
