Splitting entrees is up to the Cast Members at
Blue Bayou Restaurant in
New Orleans Square, so ask your server for your options after being seated. You could consider ordering from the Starters section of the menu if you are hoping for something smaller. I often get just the gumbo myself! Made with delicious chicken, ham, sausage, and peppers on top of steamed rice, it is one of my favorite meals! The Crab Cakes and Garlic Cheese Dip with Sourdough Boule are also tasty.
The Kids' Create-Your-Own Entrees options are usually reserved for kids aged 3-9 years old in my experience. I'm sorry! If your children prefer the choices on the Kids' Menu, you can talk to your server about portion sizes and alternatives.
I usually arrive at Blue Bayou Restaurant 15-20 minutes early to request a waterside table. My request isn't guaranteed, and I often have to wait longer to be seated, but it's worth the wait. My kids love waving to all of the Guests floating through the
Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. It's like having dinner and a show!
