    Heading to Disneyland in May, I got the 3-day pass that allow the magic morning time. How do we best utilize that one hour before the general public is allowed inside? Does anybody have any tips with a five-year-old to head first cuz Not everything is open”

    Hi there, Lori! I'm so glad you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort this spring!

    Taking advantage of Magic Morning or Extra Magic Hour is a smart idea because you can get so much done during that hour, even with a little one. Keep in mind that Magic Morning is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays at Disneyland Park and most attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland will be open. We always use early admission so I have a few tips to help maximize your time.

    -Arrive at the gates at least 15-30 minutes before Magic Morning begins.

    -If riding Peter Pan’s Flight is a priority for your family, head directly to this attraction as the queue builds up fast. Or if your child is a thrill-seeker like mine, do Hyperspace Mountain first instead.

    -After riding one of the above attractions, I suggest trying to fit in as many other Fantasyland attractions as you can because these attractions do not have FASTPASS tickets available. Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo the Flying Elephant are great choices since these queues can also get long later in the day.

    -My very best tip for Magic Morning is to go to the Frontierland entrance just before the time when the park opens for general admission. There is an entrance to this land through the Fantasy Faire area that not many people know about. Wait here for the official opening and you’ll be one of the first people on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Pirates of the Caribbean.
