Hello there Stephanie! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question!
Dining reservations at the
Disneyland Resort are a bit different from Walt Disney World. The biggest difference is that you cannot book dining for your entire stay like you can at Walt Disney World, you will need to make each dining reservation up to 60 days in advance. The dining reservations usually become available each morning at 6:00 AM PT, however, some do not get released until later. If you do not see your desired reservation, do not give up hope! I'd keep trying that morning, and definitely in the days after, since some reservations get released a bit later than others. At least for us Midwesterners, it's 8:00 AM CT that they get released, so it's not as early for us as it is for our West Coast friends!
I just returned from another lovely stay at the
Disneyland Hotel, it's just so magical there! The Disney nostalgia runs throughout the entire hotel, I'm sure you and your family will love it. Two of our favorite dining options are actually on-site at the Disneyland Hotel, and the first is the
character dining experience at
Goofy's Kitchen! It's an energetic atmosphere with some of your favorite Disney pals, and the buffet truly has something for everyone, my kids love Goofy's Famous Peanut Butter Pizza. The other recommendation is to grab a cocktail at
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar! The drinks will automatically transport you to a tropical vacation, and it's a great way to end your evening after a long day in the parks.
Stephanie, I'm sending you all of the pixie dust that you're able to secure your dining reservations! If we can help with any other questions for your upcoming trip, please
come back to planDisney!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
