Heading to Disney World with an 8 year old girl and 9 year old boy. What Character Dining experience would both of them enjoy?

    Hi Kristin!

One of my favorite character meals is breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary Resort and is a really fun meal with a great food selection. The usual characters (can be subject to change) are Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto. They all dress up in their chef clothes. While you eat you can watch the monorail glide by overhead. Dinner is also served at this restaraunt and I think it is a good choice for both boys and girls of any age!

Another good choice is the Garden Grill restaraunt located in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. Dinner here is served family style and characters include Chip and Dale. The restaraunt slowly rotates and it's possible to catch views of the Living with the Land ride. Some of the food served at the Garden Grill is actually grown in the greenhouses shows on the ride. I like to ride Living with the Land before having dinner at the Garden Grill.

I hope that these options give you some ideas for meals that both of your children may enjoy! Have a wonderful vacation!
