Howdy Christopher! I LOVE this question!
On one of our recent trips to Walt Disney World, we bought both of our kiddos a journal. The goal was to have them "write" or draw pictures (as best as they can at age 6 and 4) of the adventures they had each day. We also had some of the Disney Characters sign the journal so that we could have the kids write about meeting them.
We were able to get a few entries made into the journals but at the end of a long day in the theme parks, we were doing well to just get our kiddos into their pajamas before they were asleep. We will continue to use the journals for years to come and I know we will enjoy looking back on them when the kids are older.
While you are at Walt Disney World, you will be amazed by all of the educational experiences you will find throughout the theme parks. Epcot and Animal Kingdom, in particular, are amazing and fun but you can't help but learn something while you are there.
While my kiddos love attractions including It's a Small World and Dumbo, we find that we spend the most time in attractions including
The Seas with Nemo & Friends and
Conservation Station. Our kids are mesmerized when the Cast Members make presentations about the fish in the aquarium or the animals at Conversation Station. They also learn a great deal when visiting the World Showcase. Though to them, they are just having fun.
I'm so excited for you and I am thrilled that as a parent you are looking for educational opportunities for your daughter while you are on vacation. I know you are going to have a magical vacation, whether you are flying on Dumbo or visiting the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles! Enjoy every magical moment!
