Hi Rochelle, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Spending Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World Resort is on my bucket list, and I’m so jealous that you’ll get to spend your Turkey Day at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I share your love of the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! I was lucky enough to see it last year, and I had the biggest smile on my face as I enjoyed the festive cheer with some of my very favorite people. Just as Santa checks his list twice, I double-checked the parade listing on the
Park Hours webpage and checked with a Cast Member so I could be absolutely sure of my answer to you, Rochelle. During Thanksgiving week, the only time the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will appear will be during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on November 25. You will, however, be able to enjoy the truly wonderful
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade during your visit. From the music to the costumes to the amazing Disney details throughout, it’s truly enchanting.
The great news is that Walt Disney World Resort has just announced a
very merry lineup of holiday events. If you love shows, be sure to catch both Sunset Seasons Greetings and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays showcases festive holiday traditions from around the world, including holiday storytellers around the World Showcase. The holiday decorations around the parks and resorts are truly incredible, too!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving visit, Rochelle, and enjoy the Christmas magic all around you during your vacation.
