We are heading to Disney World Sept. 1-9. This is our second family trip. We have not been out to Disney Springs. With the limited park hours, I'd like to check it out this year. What quick service restaurant should we make sure to visit?

    Hi Lynette,

Welcome back to planDisney! I like how you think: Dining at Disney Springs is one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World activities. We live about 90 minutes away and sometimes hop in the car just to have dinner at one of our go-to spots there.

You have so many delicious options. Top on our list of quick serve restaurants is always The Polite Pig. The smoked meats are amazing. We find that the Butcher Board for 2, with a variety of meats and sides, is often enough for my husband, our adult daughter and me to share. Or sometimes, I skip the meat and make a meal of the yummy sides: crispy brussel sprouts, BBQ cauliflower, grilled street corn, tomato and watermelon salad and so much more.

We also love that many of our favorite table service restaurants have quick serve options as well. You can't beat the sesame lo-mein noodles, the Morimoto baby ribs or the shrimp tempura roll from Morimoto Asia Street Food. Or grab an elegant picnic meal from The Basket at Wine Bar George

Cookes of Dublin serves up crispy, authentic fish and chips and The Beast, its famous batter-fried burger. And we always love the variety and quality of Earl of Sandwich.

Those are among my family's favorites. You can find the full, up-to-date list of quick serve restaurants now available at Disney Springs here. Please be sure you check the Know Before You Go page for all the latest on the phased reopening of Disney Springs.

Your vacation is so close now, Lynette! But don't hesitate to check back again if you have any last-minute questions or want more tips or recommendations. Enjoy!
