Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carla!
I can't think of a better way to spend a spring day at the Walt Disney World® Resort than to take in some Braves Baseball in beautiful Champion Stadium.
And I can't think of a better way to spend a spring night than a specialty fireworks cruise. I have had the opportunity to experience both, fittingly with my husband, and the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth cruise was his favorite of the two. He prefers the more masculine feel of being in Epcot® viewing IllumiNations over the open waters of Bay Lake watching Wishes.
Your cruise will start down the canal off Crescent Lake and head toward Hollywood Studios. From there, you'll cruise on in to Epcot® Theme Park where you'll dock under the romance of the bridge near France. Once this nighttime spectacular is completed you will dock again at Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. To cap off the night, I suggest the two of you head over to
Jellyrolls, just steps from the marina, and enjoy the atmosphere of this fun dueling piano bar.
When booking, don't forget to add the birthday package, it's only an additional $25 to have the boat decked out in birthday fun.
I do want to mention what is unique about the Wishes Cruise; post fireworks, we did get to watch the Electric Water Pageant from the boat, and we did get to hear a lot of fun facts about Walt Disney World® Resort, but that had more to do with our boat's Captain than the cruise itself.
I hope this helps, Carla! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions. We are here to help with all your spring (training) plans :)
Go Braves!
