Hi Karen,
You must be getting excited for your trip to the Walt Disney World Resorts! October is such a great month to visit!
I was just at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach in August. I have to say I really do not remember seeing anyone with an ECV. Both parks involve so many stairs to get to rides that I wonder if this is why I did not see any.
At
Blizzard Beach, your husband could take the
Chair Lift to the top of Mount Gushmore. From here, you could enjoy Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher and Teamboat Springs. However, the entrance to the Chair Lift is not where you end for any of these rides which would mean additional walking back to the Chair Lift. For Cross County Creek which is a lazy river, you could enter and exit at the same location so you could leave the ECV there. For Melt-Away Bay, this zero entry pool has multiple locations to enter and I recommend finding a spot in this area to leave your gear for the day.
The other slides require long walks up stairs which were tough for me to do. A list of ride accessibility can be found using this
link. I would also call the cast members at 407-560-2547 for additional tips and tricks.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
Beth
