We are heading to Disney World in 14 days!! Our question is if you go to eat at a 2 table service restaurant (we have the DDP) but only have one table service left, can you use cash to cover the difference?

    Hello Heidi!

I am excited to hear that your trip to Walt Disney World is only two weeks away!

I would use your Disney Dining Plan in one of two ways.

Firstly, earlier in your vacation, when you are dining at a restaurant that requires only one table-service meal, pay cash instead of using your dining plan.  Then you will have an extra table-service meal each to cover the requirement at the restaurant that needs two table-service meals.

Secondly, at the restaurant requiring two table-service meals on the dining plan, depending on how many people you have dining with you and how many dining credits you have left, have some of your party use the remaining table-service meal credits (two per person), and the rest of the party pay cash.  That is to say, I think each person has to pay using the dining plan table-service meals OR by cash. I do not think one person individually can pay by half dining plan, and half cash.

I hope I have explained this fully - if not please come back and ask for more clarification.

    Have a magical vacation!
