We are heading to Disney this week for 2 weeks. We are staying at the Caribbean resort. We have breakfast reservations at grand Floridian at 845. How best to get there and what time should we leave. And can we get to Magic Kingdom via the monorail?

    Hi Diane!

Wow that is awesome that you are headed down to Walt Disney World for a two week vacation!  The easiest way to get to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa from the Caribbean Beach Resort using Disney Transportation is to take a bus from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Magic Kingdom and then a boat or the Resort Monorail to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  This journey will take an hour at a minimum and probably longer.  If you have a vehicle, then you could drive to the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC which is the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom) and then take the Resort Monorail to the Grand Floridian Resort. This method would take around 45 minutes.   If you are in a hurry then you could take a taxi directly from the Caribbean Beach Resort to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (typically a one way taxi trip anywhere on Walt Disney World property is less than $20.00 including tip).  A taxi trip would be around 20 minutes.  After your breakfast, you could take the Resort Monorail to the Magic Kingdom (it is the next stop from the Grand Floridian Resort) or you could take a boat (the boat will take longer than the Monorail).

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
