Hi, we are heading out to disney in September and are very excied as you can imagine! We are staying at Corando Springs and are wanting to have breakfast at Chef Mickey for 9 ish, but i am worried how we will get there from where we are staying. Thanks

Hi Farrah!  Traveling between resorts at Walt Disney World is not difficult but it does take some extra time if you choose to use the complimentary Disney transportation system!

There are two good ways for you to get to the Contemporary resort from Coronado Springs resort.  The buses will run to the parks an hour before opening so make sure you are ready to catch the first one of the day to the Magic Kingdom park.  When you reach the park you can either walk to the Contemporary resort or catch the RESORT monorail.  To be honest it will be quicker to just take the 8 minute walk as the bus area is on the Contemporary side of the park.  You can always use the monorail on the way back to the park when you are not stressing about time.

The other choice is to walk or catch the bus to Blizzard Beach which is very close to your resort. At this point wait for the Contemporary resort bus. Make sure you check operating hours for the water park for the day you are needing to get to the other side of property to make sure this plan will work.

Always give yourself at least an hour for traveling. Chef Mickey is located on the fourth floor of the Contemporary resort main building. Have a great time and enjoy all the wonderful characters who will stop by for a short visit at your table!
