We are heading to Disney this November. If we book for Minnie's Dessert Party do we need to buy the separate ticket for the Mickey's Chirstmas party or can we use our regular pass? If we need the separate pass from what time can we use that pass?

    Hi Jodie!

I'm so excited to hear that you are getting ready for a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! The theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs are always full of magic, but there is something extra special when you visit during the holidays. Be sure to pay attention to all of the beautifully decorated Christmas trees throughout Walt Disney World Resort because each tree is decorated to match the theme of its location.

Dessert parties are a great way to enjoy the nighttime spectaculars at each of the theme parks. They always include a wide variety of incredible treats to enjoy, plus you can watch the show from a reserved viewing location! You will need valid theme park admission tickets to enjoy any dessert party inside one of the theme parks. Since Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party takes place during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will need tickets to that evening's party to enjoy the dessert party. On party evenings, Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. to prepare for the evening's festivities and Guests who do not have party tickets will be directed towards the theme park exits. So, unfortunately, you cannot use a standard theme park ticket to enjoy Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party.

If you will be using standard theme park tickets to visit Magic Kingdom on a party day and you don't wish to attend the party, you still have some great options for a special night that includes a fantastic view of Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. I recommend that you consider a private fireworks cruise, where you can see the show from Seven Seas Lagoon! You just can't beat the view of the show from the water and it's so much fun to set sail with just your crew. If you want your night to include incredible desserts, consider adding Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise to your itinerary. During this special event, you will see the show on a ferryboat out on Seven Seas Lagoon and you can enjoy tasty treats during your voyage!

If you have additional questions as your trip approaches, let us know so we can help you plan the perfect itinerary. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
