Heading to Disney next week Rise of the resistance... can we both be logged into same account on different phones and try and get boarding groups? Should my husband create his own account and link or just use mine and we both try for boarding groups?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary!

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were in the exact same situation.  He does not have his own My Disney Experience account; I created a profile for him in my account.  We each logged in to my account from our phones to improve our chances of securing a Boarding Group.  Whether his fingers were faster or he had a better connection (we have different mobile service providers), my husband ended up securing our Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance first.  On my phone, I then ended up with a message stating that I was already in a Boarding Group.

The procedure for joining a Boarding Group is similar to making a FastPass+ reservation for your party.  At the official park opening time, select "Find Out More" from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app.  If the "Join Boarding Group" button is live (it will be red) click it; if not select "My Status" and you'll see an option to join a Boarding Group on the next page. (Keep refreshing the page if necessary.)  You will then select which Guests in your Family & Friends list will be in the Boarding Group party.  Please note, all Guests who wish to experience the attraction must have tapped in to Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to join a Boarding Group.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  May the Force be with you!
