Hi. We are heading to Disney in May of this year. I wanted to make sure that Disney’s Pop Century is still accepting grocery delivery and ask if we have to be present when the groceries arrive.

    Hi Jennifer!
    Welcome to planDisney.

Pre-ordering groceries for delivery to my Disney Resort hotel is something I do before every visit to Walt Disney World. It's a smart way to tick another thing off the list and enable us to get on with our vacation as soon as we arrive, rather than having to make a shopping trip to a local store.  It also saves a lot of heavy lifting!

I use Garden Grocer, but there are many alternative options out there.  When you place your order, ensure you complete the delivery address with your name + "Guest arriving ......" - insert your arrival date, then add the name and address of your Disney Resort hotel, which is "Disney's Pop Century Resort, 1050 Century Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8433".  On receipt of your order, Bell Services will store everything in a secure room, and any perishables will be refrigerated for you.  On arrival at your hotel, you can either collect the items from Bell Services or request that they bring them to your room.  You will have to be present in the room when they make a delivery, and please note that there will be a Resort fee of around $6.00 (subject to change) for any package, including groceries, received at the Front Desk for you.

It's worth noting that all the Disney Resort hotels stock a limited amount of food and drink items in the Resort gift shop, so you will have a few items on hand if you have forgotten anything.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is in the enviable position of being on the Disney Skyliner route.  I love this sky-high method of transport, taking us above Walt Disney World with fantastic views of the resorts and surrounding areas.  It's just like an attraction all of its own.  As a guest staying at Pop Century, you'll have an easy ride to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I also recommend you visit Disney's Riviera Resort (also on the Skyliner route) for Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends or dinner at Topolino's Terrace.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, you can also send me a direct question if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
