Hi, we will heading to Disney for the first time in early November. We would really like to take part in Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and all reservations/parks we go to each day would be based on the party. When are dates usually announced?

    Hi Jennifer!

I'm so happy to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for November. I think this is the perfect time to visit because you will be able to enjoy the start of the holiday season at the most magical place on Earth! Plus, the weather in Orlando in November is usually still pretty warm, so it's nice to leave the start of the cold weather at home to get a good dose of Florida sunshine.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun celebration of the holidays in Magic Kingdom and I'm happy to hear that you are planning on enjoying the party during your vacation. In past years, the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party were announced in March or April and ticket sales followed after. However, this year we were all pleasantly surprised when the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party were announced on the Disney Parks Blog just a few weeks ago and tickets went on sale at the same time. The blog post also said that dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party would be announced "soon". So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog over the next few weeks for announcements about this year's Christmas party dates as I expect they will be announced in plenty of time so you can plan the perfect holiday vacation itinerary!
