Hi Chantel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom’s Panel! With so much to see and experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, I understand and fully support wanting to squeeze in every bit of the magic. No matter how many times I visit the Theme Parks, I find that on my last day I want to crunch in as many attractions and entertainment offerings that I can.
Your question about adding on the Park Hopper option to just one day of your ticket is such a great question. I visited
Guest Services once to ask this very question. Unfortunately, the cost of the Park Hopper option is based on the length of your ticket. Therefore, since you have a 5-day
Standard Theme Park Ticket, they would charge you a full 5 days for the Park Hopper option even if you only had one day remaining. If you are considering the Park Hopper option, I suggest that you add it on ahead of time so that you can take full advantage of the perks of park hopping for the length of your ticket. If you choose to
upgrade your ticket, you can do so within 14 days of a Theme Tark Ticket’s first use if there is an admission remaining on the ticket. You can upgrade your ticket at any Theme Park Ticket window, Guest Relations, or the Concierge located in the Lobby at your Disney Resort hotel.
If you are considering adding on a little bit more magic to the end of one of your days during your upcoming trip, you may want to consider one of the
Special Event Tickets such as
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park or
Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Also,
Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park offers a wickedly good time on select nights beginning in February.
Whatever you decide to do just remember to live in the moment and soak up all of that Disney magic!
