Hello! - we are heading on the Disney Dream in August 2015. We get back on 31st August to Port Canaveral at 7:30am and I would like to book a flight out of Orlando (MCO) at 1pm. Will this leave us enough time to get to the airport, get checked in and fly?

    Ahoy, Jillian!

Thank you so much for using the Disney Parks Moms Panel as a planning resource for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I'm happy to help!

Disney Cruise Line recommends that guests' departing flights leave no earlier than 11:30 a.m. when using Disney's ground transportation. With a 1 p.m. flight, your family will have plenty of time to have breakfast on the ship, board the motorcoach, ride to the airport, check in, and maybe even grab lunch before you depart (that is, if you're not still stuffed from your delicious breakfast!).

If you haven't yet scheduled Disney's ground transportation for your sailing party, you can do so by calling Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 or by contacting your travel agent.

I hope this helps with your planning! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
