    We are heading to Disney in 14 days. I just noticed we will be there the week that Cars 2 is opening. WIll there be anything special going on for the opening?

    Hi Christy,

    My son is super excited about the release of Cars 2! Unfortunately, as we are from the UK we will have to wait a little longer before we are able to see it.

    At Walt Disney World, Luigi's Garage at Disney's Hollywood Studios is currently closed for refurbishment and an all new Cars 2 meet and greet is scheduled to open here in mid-June.

    To celebrate the release of Cars 2, Lightning McQueen will also begin appearing in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show which also takes place at Disney's Hollywood Studios in June 2011. My family saw this at Disneyland Paris at Easter and I have to say that it is an excellent addition to the show. 

    Exact opening dates have not been released for either of these attractions as of yet.
