    We will be heading to disney in a couple of weeks. This is the first time we are staying on site at the Beach Club. We have a 5g and 2.5b. Any suggestions on what to do? How is the Cape May Cafe character dining?

    Hi Christine!  I believe you will absolutely LOVE the Beach Club resort!  The first time you walk into the grand lobby you will feel the magic of Disney and the kids will feel right at home.  In the lobby there is often a cast member playing games with the children as well as a tv showing Disney cartoons playing all day and night!

    The Beach Club has a wonderful beach area for the kids to enjoy although there is no swimming in the lagoon water.  But don't worry as this resort shares the best pool area on property with the Yacht Club resort.  It is called Stormalong Bay and it has sand based zero entry areas that your small children will enjoy and feel comfortable to play.  Movies and marshmallow roasts are held on the beach during the evening hours and EPCOT is just a five minute walk away.  The Boardwalk area is across the bridge and Hollywood Studios is a short boat ride from the marina.

    Cape May Cafe character breakfast is a great way to start one of your days.  I have it booked for my December visit with my grandchildren. Generally three characters will be there to greet the kids and sign their autograph books. The buffet is good and the best part about it is that it is right there in your resort!  You might also consider the evening Clam Bake buffet for your family.
