We are heading to Disney in April at peak time with our three girls -- varying ages and heights. How does the new Fast Pass+ system work with the child swap? Does everyone riding need to get a FP+ or only the first rider?

Hi Pam!   Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   The Rider Switch Service is a great way for families who have a party member who is not tall enough for an attraction, or simply does not want to experience the attraction to not miss out on the fun.   I often use this feature with my two younger sons.   My husband and daughter will enjoy the attraction, while I wait with the boys; when they are done, I can ride the attraction with my daughter with little to no wait.

FastPass+ has not affected the Rider Switch Service.  If you have a FastPass+ reservation for Splash Mountain for example, every member of your party who would like to ride Splash Mountain needs a FastPass+  reservation.   The first members of your party will ride entering through the FastPass+  queue, when they are finished you and one other guest may enter the attraction through the FastPass+ queue by showing your Rider Switch coupon.
I hope this has answered your question.  If you need additional help, just let us know.

    Have a Disney day.
