We are heading out for our 2nd cruise on the Disney Dream in March out of Port Canaveral. Flights to Orlando are ok but I was looking at flights to leave Orlando coming home at 12:05pm. I am worried that we won't make it. Any thoughts? Thanks

    Ahoy, Kristin!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on becoming Silver Castaway Club Members! You'll be able to start booking all of your onboard activities and exciting Port Adventures once your final payment has been made and your advance booking window opens 90 days prior to your cruise! I remember how excited I was to receive my very first Silver Castaway Club lanyard which checking in at the Cruise Terminal. I can't wait for you and your family to receive yours next March!

Thank you so much for sailing by with this important question! Disney Cruise Line recommends that Guests schedule their flights out of Orlando International Airport after 11:30 a.m. the morning they disembark the ship. In my opinion, booking a 12:05 p.m. flight will be just fine! If you and your family are planning on taking Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation from Port Canaveral to the airport, motor coaches leave the Cruise Terminal continuously! We've always used Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers and have never waited for a motor coach back to the airport. Once you board the motor coach, it will take about an hour to reach Orlando International Airport.

Before booking your return flight, I recommend reading the Air and Ground Transportation information on Disney Cruise Line's website for details relating to transportation to and from your Disney Cruise. Kristin, if you can think of any more questions before your adventure sailing the high seas next March, please come back and visit us again!
