We're heading back to WDW and ready to embrace all of the safety changes. Our ADR window just opened and I'm finding availability super limited, which is understandable. Will we likely have any luck for walk-up dining for table service spots?

    Hello, dear Emily!

Welcome to planDisney. We LOVE to welcome Guests who are as committed to the safety procedures as we are!

My friend Jon just came back from the Walt Disney World Resort, and he told me that he felt super safe at the Theme Parks, so I genuinely hope that you feel the same!

While it's hard to guarantee that you will find tables available if you try a few walk-ups, I certainly encourage you to try. People who have reservations change their plans all the time, and we may see some open tables with the limited Theme Park capacity.

But I'd also advise you to make alternative plans for each Table Service restaurant that you intend to visit, just in case your walk-ups don't work. Looking at a few quick-service menus can get you and your family excited about dishes that may not be on your radar. The Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters is one of my favorite quick-service fixes at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's themed, spicy, tangy, and filling!

You'll also find some delicious bites at Sleepy Hollow, at Magic Kingdom Park. The Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich is my favorite by far, and it's a yummy option for breakfast or a shared dessert. I love it so much that I have to have it on every trip.

I hope that you have an unforgettable trip to the Walt Disney World Resort this October, dear Emily. I'll be rooting for your walk-ups!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
