Hello, Rasheeda!
October is my favorite month to visit, especially for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It's the real reason for our October visits. Mickey's famous fall party is a ticketed event that welcomes all ages to enjoy an evening of not-so-scary fun and trick-or-treating. Here are a few of our "must-dos" during the party:
• Be sure to visit Mickey Mouse after the party officially starts to see his Halloween Costume!
• Spend some time listening to the Cadaver Dans in Frontierland. They will have you dying with laughter.
• Usually, there are a few Disney PhotoPass Photographers, who will have party exclusive magic shots.
• Attend at least one Dance Party. My son loved last year's Villain Dance Party at the Diamond Horseshoe and danced with Governor Ratcliff from Pocahontas.
• Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade steps off twice during the party, so make plans to attend one (or both).
• No party is complete without watching Happy HalloWishes. This fireworks display casts a spell that won't want to miss!
If you plan to visit on Halloween Night, October 31, you may find that select Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer special activities for Guests. This past year there were pumpkin decorating contests, costume parades, games and a few beloved Disney Characters greeting Guests. The activities were free and available for all ages to enjoy. Just check with your resort concierge when you check-in to see what special events may be happening during your stay.
I hope you have the opportunity to attend one of the parties, and your little ones can experience Halloween with Mickey and his Pals. Please visit us again real soon!
