Heading back in August for our yearly trip to Disney. Girls will be 5 and 7. Do you think we can finally go without a stroller? Unbrella strollers don't move around the parks well. Love the Disney strollers but they are very expensive. Thoughts?

Hello, Andrew!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

My boys were just about this age when we decided to opt out of renting a stroller.  We did adjust our time in the parks to accommodate a "nap time" back at our Walt Disney World Resort.  This extra sleep time allowed us to go back to the parks and tackle the evening hours.  For our first trip without the strollers, we did have to deal with the boys constantly asking for us to rent a stroller.  As more and more trips came about, the asking and the "nap times" slowly faded away.  Should you choose to not rent any strollers, I do think the girls will miss them as they watch others relaxing in the strollers.  I am sure you will be questioned by them as well.  I would highly recommend a "nap time" somewhere in between.  It will really help.  Also, you may want to talk to them prior to your arrival.  You know your little ones best and I know you will do what is best for them.  I do wish you lots of luck!
