Headed to the World in about 2 weeks. What are my current options for gluten free counter service? I'm having trouble finding menus with gluten free options listed. Thanks!

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Karena. I'm just delighted you've stopped by with this great question! We'd love to help you plan your upcoming Disney vacation.

One of my favorite things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort is EAT. With over 300 dining locations in and out of the theme parks, Guests certainly have lots of incredible options to choose from!

The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making sure all Guests have a magical and safe visit, so you can be sure that most Quick-Service dining locations offer gluten-free menu items. While there isn't an option to filter restaurants by the availability of gluten-free menu items, I can help you find those gluten-free options! Start by hovering over the "Things to Do" tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Select "All Restaurants" from the drop-down menu that appears. On the next page, click on the "Dining Experience" drop-down menu and check "Counter Service." This will filter all the Quick-Service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Select a restaurant you're interested in visiting. You'll be directed to that restaurant's webpage where you'll find a blue link to the right of the image that says "View Menu." Click on that link to view the menu for that dining location. You typically need to scroll down the page quite a bit to find the allergy-friendly offerings.

I encourage you to check out the Special Dietary Requests page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. It has lots of tips and information to help you enjoy an allergy-safe visit! If you have any specific questions about your unique needs, you can contact the Special Diets Team by emailing Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! One of my favorite things about this app is that I can use it to place my family's mobile food and beverage orders at select Quick-Service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. This feature has saved us lots of precious time! The mobile food and beverage order feature is a great way to check out menus ahead of time too. To view the menu at a particular Quick-Service dining location, tap on the plus sign at the bottom of the app home screen. Tap on "Order Food" and then scroll to find the dining location you're interested in. Tap on a pick-up time (even if you have no intention of ordering quite yet) and then tap on the allergy-friendly icon to view gluten-free menu items. Isn't that convenient?

I hope this was helpful, Karena. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
