Hi I am headed up this weekend is the Garden Grill a good place to take a 2 1/2yr old for dinner? what characters are there? Thanks for the info

    Hi Sherry!

I think the Garden Grill restaurant in Epcot is a great place to take a two and a half year old.  That's based on my experiences with taking my youngest son there for several years now.  My youngest son is a very picky eater; if it's not a chicken nugget or some kind of pasta with butter then he doesn't want to see it on his plate.  We've never had a problem feeding him there.  They usually offer chicken nuggets or macaroni and cheese for children there.

As far as characters, we've seen Chip and Dale and Mickey Mouse dressed as a farmer every year we've been there.  Sometimes we have also seen Pluto, but not every year.  The Garden Grill is a relatively small restaurant so you have the opportunity for a lot of character interaction.  Unlike most Character Dining Experiences where you only see a particular character once during a meal, it's not unusual to have two or three interactions with the same character depending on how long you dine there.

    Have a magical vacation!
