Headed to WDW week of June 7th. Considering with Spirit of Aloha or Hoop dee do revue with my five year old, any recommendations? tks!

    Hi Sherrer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

We’ve experienced both Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and, with a 5 year old, I would definitely recommend the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. It’s a more energetic show, with lots of singing and dancing… as well as some truly corny jokes to keep your little one entertained. Although the second half of the luau was pretty cool and, in some ways, probably the most entertaining part of any dinner show at Walt Disney World Resort, we found that the first part dragged a bit. Plus, we preferred the food at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.

I hope that my answer helps you make your choice! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
