    We are headed to WDW next week! So EXCITED! My DH's birthday is the 18th and we have reservations for Breakfast at Chef MIckey. How far in advance can I order a cake and can I have the remains sent back to our RV at Camp Wilderness?

    Hi Beth!

    Chef Mickey's is my favorite character dining restaurant!  We just celebrated my daughter and son's birthdays there with special cakes as well.  For the fancy, personalized cakes, you will need to order at least 48 hours ahead of time.  There really isn't a specified maximum amount of time to order, but at I like to have it finalized at least a week ahead of time.  If you have leftovers, you will be responsible for bringing it back to your resort.  The restaurant is unable to have it delivered.  You will be given a cake box and bag.  I suggest having just one person run it back to your RV and then meet back up with you afterwards.  It's a pain, but worth it for that delicious cake!
