We are headed to WDW March 24-31st to celebrate my 4 and 6 year olds birthdays! My question is I have a girl and a boy - do you have any suggestions on the best way to celebrate their birthdays together?

Hi Bryan!  This should be quite a wonderful vacation celebrating your children's birthdays.  There are lots of fun opportunities to make it extra special for both a boy and girl.

Definitely try to secure a dining reservation, 407-939-3463, for a character meal. My favorite is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort for dinner as so many of the well known Disney characters come for a visit including Mickey himself!  For any dining experience on property consider having special cake(s) delivered to your restaurant on their birthday. Call the cake hotline for information and reservations for this. 407-827-2253.

Be sure and pick up a birthday button at any Guest Relations spot on property.  There are many things happening in 2009 for special celebrations so check here.

Other special events could include a stop at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They not only have packages for the princess but also the prince in the family!  Fort Wilderness has many fun events going on so be sure and read about those such as the pony rides.  There is a fun 2 hour magic Kingdom Family Fun Tour that is very popular and ends with a character greeting.  To get more information and reservations please call 407-939-8687.

Surprise your children with something special in your resort room.  The Disney florist will love to help you select a choice or develop something personal for your birthday celebrations. or 407-827-3505

    Have fun planning!
