We are headed to WDW in July for the first time. We have reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey, Playhouse Disney at Hollywood and Vine, and Askershus Storybook dining. Is there any other character dining you recommend? (4yo dd with us.)

I am so excited for you. Your first visit to WDW is sure to be memorable.

I think the places where you have secured Advance Dining Reservations are all wonderful choices. Your daughter will enjoy princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table and at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Hollywood and Vine’s Play ’n’ Dine characters are a delight for young children too.

Chef Mickey’s has always been a favorite of ours. It’s just an exciting restaurant and I always find myself singing along to the “Celebrate Mickey Mouse” song.

I would also recommend the Cape May Café. This buffet breakfast is quite cheerful. The characters are in their beach attire and you can walk to Epcot when you are finished with your meal.

I would also recommend the Crystal Palace which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Hundred Acre Wood pals. This meal is great for young children too. Eeyore is so gloomy that you can’t help but hug him. Pooh, with a rumbly in his tumbly, serves up fun and good food.

Depending on your length of stay, I don’t think it is necessary to add on more character meals. If you do decide to dine with more characters, I think you would enjoy the above recommendations . Have a fabulous trip and stop by City Hall for a first visit button!
