We are headed to WDW this July for the first time and know it will be hot, hot, HOT! I was wondering if any of the shows are indoors or if everything is outdoors at the Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Deanna,

Welcome to the Moms Panel & congratulations on your 1st trip! Be sure to pick up your "1st Visit" buttons at your resort or any Guest Relations location - great free souvenEARs to start your trip.

You are right, typically July is a hot month in central Florida. Many queues at the Magic Kingdom are in the shade & many of the attractions are indoors. Some of the longer indoor attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, "it's a small world" & Stitch's Great Escape! (if you have little ones, you may want to avoid this one).  One of my favorites to hop on & cool off is the Tomorrowland PeopleMover. Part of it is indoors & part outdoors but its a nice long ride to take a little break on.

There are some indoor shows as well including Country Bear Jamboree, The Hall of Presidents, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Carousel of Progress & Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.  The Enchanted Tiki Room will be closed during your visit.

Wishing you many magical memories on your first trip :-) Allison
