We are headed to WDW in January/Februray 2014. I was told by a person that just went to WDW that the refillable mug can be refilled throughout WDW, not just the resort you are staying at. Is this true? Thanks.

    Hi, Emily!

The resort refillable mugs are so handy for unlimited refills of your favorite soft drink, coffee, iced tea, or hot chocolate.  Ah, I just love laying by the pool as I make my kids make runs to the soft drink station for me - that's what kids are for, right?!

Your refillable mug is good for the length of stay at your home resort.  Would anyone really know if you took your mug to a different resort? No.  But, for the few times you will resort hop, I am not sure it is worth carrying around since the mugs do NOT work in the theme parks.

When I get a mug, I just leave it at my resort (which is the "official" word on this), mostly because I am carrying around so much already. The last thing I need is my mug for maybe the one time I will use it when resort hopping for a quick service meal.  I hope this helps!   Enjoy your vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
