We are headed to WDW in January and are super excited to get the perfect picture in front of the castle. Can you tell me whether or not there is a place to get an unobstructed view of the castle?

    Angela:

Although you've probably seen many pictures of the iconic "family on Main Street" in front of Cinderella Castle, to get that picture without guests behind you, you'll need to make a breakfast reservation at Crystal Palace inside the Magic Kingdom before the park officially opens, preferably somewhere between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on a morning that does not have Early Magic Hours for the park. With a breakfast seating, you'll be able to get in the park before other guests.

However, if breakfast isn't in your budget, another wonderful view of the castle is on the pathway off the main traffic circle that leads you to Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. You'll find several places along that route leading away from the traffic circle that will allow you and your family to take a picture with the castle in the background. I especially like this angle at night. You may even find a PhotoPass photographer on this path or right after you cross the bridge on the other path that leads to Tomorrowland's Stitch attraction. Greenery will be a welcomed background behind one of these memorable photos no matter what time of day you take your photo.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
