Hello! Headed to WDW in Feb 2016, and are interested in the Fantasmic Dinner Package/VIP Seating. My father in law is handicapped & uses an ECV. Will there be a place in the reserved VIP seating that's easy for him to access, given that? Thanks in adva

    Hi Jennifer!

I'm so glad to hear you're considering the Fantasmic! Dinner Package when you visit!  My family loves all the restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so having the chance to enjoy a yummy meal at one of those AND see Fantasmic! at the end of the night makes for a practically perfect combination.

Disney is so wonderful about helping Guests who need special assistance, so no need to worry about seating for your father-in-law.  Accessible seating is definitely available for Fantasmic!  The nighttime show takes place in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, which is fully wheelchair and ECV accessible.  Seating is stadium-style with benches, but there is accessible seating reserved behind the back row, which is also (conveniently) on the same level as the entrance.  When you arrive, a Cast Member will show your father-in-law to an available accessible seating area.  He will be able to sit one member of your party and the rest of the group will be shown to seating nearby, based on availability.

If you haven't already taken at look at the Services for Guests with Disabilities page, I'd definitely recommend doing that before your trip so you can make the most of all the great services available to make your trip the most pixie-dusted it can be for everyone in your group.

I hope that helps, Jennifer, but please stop by and visit us again with any other questions you have.

    Wishing you a magical day!

    Beth
