Headed to WDW in 13 days! DH and I are expecting our 3rd child. Will find out the baby's gender 2 days before the trip. Would love to do something special for a "gender reveal" for our DS 6 and DD 13? Any fun ideas on how we can make this moment

    Hi Gina:

What wonderful news and what a great treat to be able to do the gender reveal at Disney World.

My first thought would be to present the news high above Disney World on the balloon ride Characters in Flight, a wonderful experience with a breathtaking view of Disney World property and beyond.  The experience is dramatic and gives you time to enjoy the news in an inspiring environment where your feet are literally off the ground.

Another thought is to take a ride on Peter Pan's Flight and perform the reveal as your pirate ship flies over the Darling's nursery when Peter visits Wendy, Michael, and John Darling in the beginning of the attraction.  Then you can enjoy your family's reaction as you fly off over London.

Perhaps order a specialty cake to make the news an edible reveal.  Call the cake hotline in advance at 407-827-2253.  Prices will vary depending on size and customization

You can also choose to do the reveal at a special restaurant, such as California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. California Grill features delicious California Fusion cooking and spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom and the Wishes fireworks show.

    Enjoy this wonderful vacation.
