We are headed to the park for one day next week. Low attendance I know but how will early entrance for hotel stayers (which I am not) affect our first trip to Disney with the kids and our ability to see Rapunzel and other high profile characters?

Hi there Estela. Wow! Your FIRST trip to Walt Disney World is NEXT week! Your kids must be so excited at this point!

I checked the Magic Kingdom Park hours for all of next week and it looks like morning early entry for Disney resort guests is only scheduled for one date, Thursday September 13th. Simply check out this link to see which attractions are planned to be available for the 8am-9am Extra Magic Hour as you may experience slightly longer queue lines at these rides upon your entry at 9am into the theme park.

Character Greetings are a wonderful way to kick off your Disney Day! You'll want to check the Times Guide on the day of your visit to find out where and when some of your favorite Disney Characters will be appearing. On average, the first opportunities for hugs, high-fives and hand shakes begin about 10 minutes prior to park opening and will be offered intermittently throughout the day.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation full of plenty of character!
