Season's greetings, Michelle!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question! I absolutely love including the special parties in my Disney vacations as they make your experience so unique. I mean, what could possibly be more magical than drinking hot chocolate while snow falls slowly on Main Street, U.S.A.?
After attending
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year, I got to see how the Disability Access Service works during party hours. You will be able to use your
Disability Access Service to get a return time for attractions and character meet and greets that have posted wait times on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. The meet and greets that do not show up on the app or that do not have posted wait times may not issue return times, therefore. This is similar to
character meet and greets like Merida's during regular theme park hours, which does not offer return times. In this case, I would still recommend seeing a Cast Member at the meet and greet of your choice and asking if they could give you a return time, as they are the ones who truly will be able to help further.
While you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during that time of year, I also highly suggest you check out some of the other festive offerings that will be available! For example, I absolutely love the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays as you get to try different foods while also learning about traditions from around the world. Those in your party with a sweet tooth will also love the
Holiday Cookie Stroll, where you get a cookie at designated locations and even get a prize at the end. End the day watching the
Candlelight Processional, and voilà! You've got the perfect festive day to ring in the holiday chEAR.
I hope this was helpful, Michelle, and that you will have the merriest time on your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. As Minnie once said, the best kind of magic is the one we make when we're all together!
Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly day!
